Glenwoodie Golf Club

Glenwoodie Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course located in Glenwood, Illinois, approximately 25 minutes south of downtown Chicago. The course has been a regional favorite for over 85 years and is consistently ranked among the top 35 public courses in the area.

The layout features narrow bentgrass fairways and large rolling greens surrounded by groves of mature oak trees, creating a classic woodland setting. The terrain is characterized by rolling topography that adds to the course's challenge and visual appeal.

The 16th hole has earned recognition as one of the best public golf holes in the Chicagoland region, serving as a signature feature of the layout. The course accommodates golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players.

Glenwoodie has hosted serious competitive play throughout its history while remaining accessible to recreational golfers. The course has been owned and operated by the Village of Glenwood since 1995, with internal operations managed since 1999.
