The layout is divided into two distinct nine-hole sections: the outward course and the inward course. The grounds are framed by large red pines and camphor trees, providing a scenic backdrop that changes with the seasons. The course plays to a par 72 from the regular tees, with a total yardage of 6,045 yards. The outward nine measures 3,186 yards, featuring a demanding opening hole that plays 486 yards from the regular tees as a par 5. This starting hole is a left dogleg downhill that requires a long drive to avoid a fairway bunker, setting a tone of aggression for the front nine. The back nine is slightly shorter at 2,859 yards but presents a more technical challenge, highlighted by the 475-yard 12th hole, a dogleg left par 5 that requires precise placement on a undulating fairway to set up an approach. Key challenges on the course include the 14th hole, a 495-yard par 5 that plays through a flat, reverse-S shaped fairway. This hole requires a long second shot over a fairway bunker to reach the green in two, making it a critical scoring opportunity. The greens are described as smooth Korai grass with significant undulation and slope, requiring careful reading of the breaks. The course has hosted events such as the All Japan Women's Senior Championship, where the putting surfaces received high praise for their speed and quality. Bridgestone Country Club is situated near the Kyushu Shinkansen line, with easy access from the Tosu and Asakura stations.
