Located in Minamiaso Village, Kumamoto Prefecture, at an elevation of 400 meters, the Trial Golf & Resort ASO Course is a strategic 18-hole championship layout. The course is situated within a national park, utilizing the natural topography and expansive views of the Aso region. It was designed by renowned architect Chohei Miyazawa and opened in 1976, marking its 49th anniversary in 2025. The layout is characterized by its elevation and the integration of the surrounding natural landscape. As a strategic course, it challenges golfers with the demands of playing at altitude while navigating the terrain's inherent features. The club house is designed to harmonize with the surrounding nature, offering a calm atmosphere for players. The facility also includes a restaurant serving local cuisine and supports competitions, with records of events such as the 49th Anniversary Cup.
