The Galley Hill Course is an 18-hole downland course with a Par of 71 and plays to 6401 yards, recognized as one of the best courses in Bedfordshire and surrounding counties. Located at Warden Hill Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, the course sits on chalk hills just north of Luton. Due to its chalk hill location, the course maintains excellent condition year-round including winter, and features out-of-bounds alongside 14 holes with strong winds creating a stern test of golf that regularly hosts County Championships.
The course was founded in 1892 with Harry Vardon being influential in its early design, with several holes still reflecting Vardon's guidance. The course starts unconventionally with a short par 3, the first of five par threes on the card. Back-to-back par fives close the outward half before the longer inward half features a varied mix of holes with no consecutive holes playing to the same par until the finish. The club has hosted significant amateur events including England Golf's South East Group Men's County Qualifier.
