The course opened for play in 1962 and adopted the name "Four Seasons Golf Course" in March 1983. In November 1989, East Hempfield Township purchased the golf course and has continually made improving the golf course a top priority. Four Seasons is a challenging par 70 mature golf course consisting of 18 holes spanning 6320 yards with a slope rating of 120 and course rating of 69.6. The course was designed by Dick Funk.

The course is located a couple of miles from downtown Lancaster City in Landisville, Pennsylvania. The relatively narrow fairways are lined by many mature trees. The Par 5's are where the course really comes alive with fantastic holes. The course features hole #3 as a warm-up par 5, hole #14 as a MONSTER par 5 at 569 yards with an elevated tee shot and uphill approach, and hole #17 as a closing par 5 with a creek splitting the fairway.

The greens are well bunkered, and a man-made pond comes into play on one hole. The most challenging aspect of playing Four Seasons is the rough, which is very thick, and balls can be lost just off the fairway. The course is known as one of the finest public golf courses in Lancaster County.
