Ferndown Forest Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 68 course measuring 5014 yards, established in 1983. The picturesque course is set in ancient woodland with meandering streams and is extremely flat and relatively short. The course is ideal for beginners and intermediates, and is popular with senior and lady golfers due to its flat design with an 18-hole buggy track.

The front nine emphasizes course management, while the back nine allows larger hitters opportunities on some fantastic par-5s. Notable features include the par-4 11th hole, a dogleg with an approach shot over a lake to a defended green, and the 18th, a risk-and-reward par-5 where longer hitters can attack the green in two shots. The course maintains high-quality greens and has undertaken recent improvement programs.

The woodland and parkland course is located 20 minutes north of Bournemouth on the A31, is flat with plenty of features and wildlife, and offers great facilities including a large shop, floodlit driving range, and bar and restaurant.
