The Fairvue course is an 18-hole championship golf course featuring 7,116 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72, designed by Bergin Golf Design and opened in 2004. The course has a rating of 74.3 and a slope rating of 131 on Zoysia grass fairways. The course is nestled along Old Hickory Lake in Gallatin, Tennessee, conveniently located for residents of Hendersonville, Portland and all of Sumner County.
The course opens with several holes featuring wide, generous landing areas but eventually gets more challenging, with water coming into play starting at the par-4 ninth hole for the next five holes, positioned on the left side to allow players the option to bail out to the right. Compared to the sibling Foxland Links layout with its elevated tees, Fairvue Lakes is relatively flat. The course was selected as one of Golf Week's Top 10 New Courses for 2008 and has hosted the 2010 Tennessee Men's Amateur, 2011 Tennessee Girl's Junior Amateur, and 2012 TGA Women's Amateur.
