Europäischer Golfclub Elmpter Wald e.V. is an 18-hole golf course situated on the grounds of the former Niederkrüchten-Elmpt military airbase in Niederkrüchten, Germany. Originally built in 1954 by the Royal Air Force as a recreational facility for soldiers and staff, the course has been meticulously maintained and continuously developed over decades.
Spanning approximately 76 hectares, the course is embedded within a beautiful parkland and heathland landscape, offering a peaceful setting far removed from traffic noise. The sandy soil provides excellent drainage, enabling year-round playability despite weather conditions. The course is characterized by its natural landscape design and serene surroundings.
The club offers comprehensive golf instruction through its Head Professional Marc Riesenfeld and Teaching Professional André Brauer, along with junior training and beginner courses. Facilities include a driving range and The Oaks bar and restaurant. The course hosts various club championships and tournaments throughout the season, fostering an active golfing community with competitive events for members of all skill levels.
