The Estes Park 18-Hole Course is a championship length par 71 golf course, running 6,400 yards from the men's blue tees. The course is located on the southeast side of Estes Park, approximately 60 miles northwest of Denver, Colorado. The course enjoys a breathtaking setting in a wide mountain valley with panoramic views of Meeker and Longs Peak.
Designed in 1917 by Dick Phelps and Henry Hughes, the remodeled course opened on July 5, 1960 as the Estes Park Municipal Golf Course. In March 1957, the recreation district obtained funding to transform the 9-hole course into an 18-hole course with grass fairways, a watering system and locker rooms with showers. The course is ranked as the sixth most beautiful golf course in the U.S. in The Golf Book of Lists.
The golf courses enjoy locations surrounded by spectacular mountain views, and during most of the year, you can play a round of golf while sharing the course with herds of deer and elk with an occasional coyote or two watching. The 18-hole has a full practice area that includes a driving range, chipping and putting greens. Mother's Cafe is a full-service restaurant available for dine-in, take out, and to-go service at the turn.
