Egwani Farms Golf Course opened in 1991 as an 18-hole, par 72 layout designed by D.J. DeVictor. The championship layout plays just over 6,700 yards from the back tees and offers a wide variety of holes, with seven of those coming along the Egwani River. Before the course was built, the property was a working farm. The course stretches 6,708 yards with a slope rating of 128.

The course is very playable with generous fairways, but there are two large lakes that come into play on several holes. On the par-5 sixth, water runs along the entire right side until it crosses the fairway on the approach shot, and on the par-4 seventh another lake comes into play from the tee all the way to the green on the right side. Holes 2 and 3 are the only elevation changes on a mostly flat course. The course has seven sets of tees, which start at just under 4,600 yards, making it playable for all levels of golfers.

In 2016, on its 25th anniversary, the course underwent a complete renovation including new Champion Bermuda greens, Billy style bunkers, 15 acres of fescue and new cart paths. The course has been recognized among Golf Advisor's Top Courses in Tennessee, ranking as high as #1 in 2024 and 2021.
