Ebensburg Country Club was founded in 1922 and opened as a 9-hole golf club after construction was completed in 1923. In 2000, a second 9 holes opened, creating an 18-hole course. The course features 6,680 yards of golf for a par of 71, with a course rating of 72.9 and a slope rating of 140. The course was designed by Beidel and Associates. Ed Beidel designed the 2nd Nine at Ebensburg Country Club.

The course features gently rolling fairways, challenging greens and multiple sets of tees to accommodate players of all ages and skill levels. The distinctive character of the course lies in the contrast between its two nines—the original front 9 and the newer back 9, each with different playing characteristics. Ebensburg Country Club has an onsite driving range with 4 practice tees.

Ebensburg Country Club was featured in a USGA book titled "Building a Practical Golf Facility" by Dr. Michael J. Hurdzan. The club remains true to its original mission to provide an exceptional golf experience for its members, guests and friends.
