Eagle Creek Golf Course

Eagle Creek Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in LaGrange, Kentucky, approximately 22 miles south of downtown Louisville, just 1.5 miles south of I-71 on Highway 53. Owned by the City of LaGrange, the course is known for its well-maintained playing surfaces, featuring Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens.

The course is designed to challenge golfers of all skill levels while maintaining an accessible difficulty profile. The layout incorporates woods surrounding numerous holes, creating a serene natural setting that provides an escape from urban environments. Water features are integrated throughout the course, adding visual interest and strategic elements to the design.

Eagle Creek was recognized as the #1 Municipal Golf Course in Kentucky by Golf Digest in August 2009. The course earned the 2024 designation as the Best Golf Course in Oldham County. The facility supports an active community with a 9-hole ladies league and 9-hole men's league during summer months. Open seven days a week, it accommodates both public play and membership options, serving as a significant recreational golf resource in the Louisville metropolitan area.
