Duke University Golf Club

Course Information Unclaimed

Duke University Golf Club is located on the campus of Duke University and is home to the Duke University Golf teams. Designed by legendary golf architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr., in 1957, and later renovated by his son, Rees Jones, the course has a storied history of hosting prestigious tournaments, including the 2001 NCAA Men's Golf Championship and men's and women's US Open Qualifying in 2024 and 2025.

Home to the Duke Blue Devils, a top NCAA Division I program, the Duke Golf Club features significant elevation changes and forced carries over narrow winding creeks. Most holes are treelined with dense forest and there are a few streams running through the course that typically come into play when hitting par 5s in two. The 18-hole layout challenges golfers of all skill levels while providing the conditioning necessary for collegiate competition, with well-maintained fairways and greens. Course amenities include a pro shop, practice facilities, a driving range, and clubhouse dining options.
