Draper Valley Golf Club

Draper Valley Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course located in Draper, Virginia, situated on 205 acres in the rolling hills of Southwest Virginia near the intersection of Interstate 77 and 81. The course, which opened in 1992, features a traditional design that showcases the natural terrain of the Draper Mountain Range, including pristine forests, tranquil lakes, and marshes.

The layout is a par 72 course measuring 7,046 yards, designed to allow golfers to use every club in their bag. The fairways are well-groomed with undulating greens, and water hazards come into play on seven holes. The signature hole is the par 5, 511-yard ninth hole, which requires approach shots over both a marsh and water hazard to reach the green, with views of the historic John Draper homeplace as its backdrop.

The course offers challenging play for all skill levels and has been previously ranked number 37 among the top 50 golf courses in the United States for under $50 by Golf Magazine. Beyond the course itself, the facility includes a practice range, putting greens, clubhouse, pro shop, and event facilities. The club operates year-round, weather permitting, and is open to the public with membership options available.
