Don Valley Golf Course

Located alongside the Don River, Don Valley Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 course spanning 6,163 yards, making it Toronto's longest golf course. The setting features highly regarded, picturesque views of the surrounding natural area within the Don Valley landscape.

The course is characterized by well-protected greens and notable elevation changes, with holes 12 and 13 serving as signature features. The terrain presents moderate challenge through its length and strategic green design.

The course opened on August 1, 1956, following Metro Toronto's acquisition of 65 hectares of Carson Park in 1955. An extensive restoration program undertaken in 1993 included hole realignments, creation of a naturalized wetland water hazard, and significant improvements to drainage, irrigation systems, and turf conditions on tees and greens. These enhancements enlarged playing surfaces to accommodate the course's competitive level of play.
