Delray Dunes Golf and Country Club, designed by Pete Dye in 1969, was the legendary architect's first Florida course design. The 18-hole championship layout features par 72 with multiple tee options accommodating all skill levels. The course is characterized by Dye's signature design elements, including strategic bunkering, walled fairways, false fronts, and undulating greens that demand precision and course management.

Set in South Florida, the course presents a challenging routing with notable water hazards, particularly on holes 7 and 18, which frame picturesque views back to the clubhouse. The par-3 third hole is highlighted as a signature hole with expansive bunkering surrounding three-quarters of the green. Hole 6 ranks as the course's most difficult, a long par 4 with massive fairway bunkering and highly undulating greens. The layout rewards strategic shot placement and offers risk-reward opportunities throughout, such as the short par-4 fifth hole.

Delray Dunes maintains high conditioning standards and remains highly regarded in the South Florida golf market. Dye himself has remained invested in the course's evolution, continuously offering refinements since its original construction. The course accommodates golfers of varying abilities while preserving substantial challenge for accomplished players.
