Deer Run Golf Club is a 9-hole course in Horton, Michigan designed by Bruce Gilpin and opened in 1964. The course features 3,080 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Lakes abound in close proximity to the course, which offers nine holes of golf in beautiful country settings. The course features three sets of tees for different skill levels.
The course design incorporates challenging yet fair holes suitable for players of various different skill levels, with multiple sets of tees, real sand bunkers, and a full restaurant. The course has Bent Grass greens and Blue Grass fairways. The course has tree-lined fairways that are mostly flat, but there are some hills that can cause uneven lies.
A notable signature hole is a beautiful par 3 that features an island green with all carry over a water hazard. The facility maintains a charming old brick clubhouse and an Irish pub.
