Canada
Located on the heights of Coaticook, Quebec, the Club de Golf de Coaticook is an 18-hole, par-72 course situated at 660 rue Merrill. The facility opened in 1962 with a nine-hole layout on the site of the current Merrill Street exit. The course was expanded to its current 18-hole configuration in 1991, allowing for a full round without requiring players to traverse the same holes multiple times. The terrain features designed fairways, interesting greens, water hazards, and sand bunkers. The course is maintained by a team led by the superintendent and is managed by a board of directors. The club holds a three-star designation from the Association of Golf Tour Operators of Quebec (ATGQ). The setting provides panoramic views of the city and the surrounding mountains, a feature highlighted particularly at the 18th tee. The club also features a clubhouse built in 1962, which has undergone significant renovations in 2006, 2007, and 2013 to expand the dining and lounge areas. Historical records indicate the club has served the community for over five decades, with the first official charter granted in 1960. Early operations involved a unique system where players had to play six holes three times to complete a full round. The facility continues to operate as a family-oriented course, maintaining its original hardwood floors in the clubhouse as a remnant of its 1962 construction.
