Nestled in the Eastern Township countryside just minutes from Sherbrooke, Quebec, the Milby Golf Club is a semi-private 18-hole course designed by renowned architect Howard Watson and inaugurated in 1964. The layout is set within an enchanting landscape of woods, rivers, and hills, characterized by large undulating greens and a unique terrain that has earned the club recognition as one of the best semi-private courses in the province. The course offers a significant challenge through its quality of terrain and the uniqueness of its setting, featuring practice areas that include two practice fields, a large practice green, and a dedicated space for approach shots and sand exits. The club has a rich history of hosting prestigious tournaments, beginning with its early days as the Lennoxville Golf and Country Club Inc, which opened its first nine holes in 1965 before expanding to 18 holes in 1969. Notable events held at the course include the Quebec Open in 1992 and 1993, the Quebec Amateur Championship in 1983 and 1989, and the Canadian Assistant Pro Championship in 1984. The facility has also hosted the Canada Games in 2013, the Quebec Pro-Senior Championship in 2005, and various university and high school competitions, reflecting its commitment to encouraging the next generation of golfers.
