Daxi Golf Club is located in Taoyuan, Taiwan, situated among rolling mountains with expansive vistas. The 102-hectare facility features 27 holes divided into three sections, with an 18-hole championship course measuring 7,150 yards. Designed by renowned international architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., who undertook a major redesign in 1999, the course is recognized as Taiwan's premier championship venue.
The course's distinctive characteristics include strategic use of the natural topography, with the East and Central sections following the mountainous terrain's contours, while the West section offers more open, level play. A signature feature is the integration of clear mountain streams transformed into scenic lakes that harmonize with the landscape. The course is extensively landscaped with flowering plants representing all four seasons, creating both aesthetic appeal and competitive challenge.
The greens are particularly noted for their demanding design and championship quality. The facility has received numerous international accolades, including recognition as Taiwan's best golf course by Asian Golf Magazine and ranking first among Taiwan courses in the World's Top 100 Golf Courses. Supporting amenities include dining, practice facilities, and resort accommodations, making it a comprehensive golf and leisure destination.
