Cross Creek Country Club's 18-hole championship golf course opened in 1973 and is a Joseph Lee design that flows just under 6,800 yards and plays to a par 72. Multiple tees give members and guests a true challenge of golf. The course features excellent bent grass greens and lush Bermuda fairways, with 68 strategic bunkers and seven bodies of water throughout the course. The front nine flows through a valley while the back nine is more hilly in nature.

Nestled in the picturesque foothills of Mount Airy, North Carolina, Cross Creek Country Club is a premier semi-private membership club. The club is situated at the foot of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains and has been in operation since 1973. The course was designed by Joseph Lee, a well-known and highly respected golf course architect. Improvements were made to the golf course in 2005 under the guidance of Greensboro-based architect Kris Spence.

Cross Creek Country Club is celebrating more than fifty years of providing fine dining and recreation to its members. The clubhouse was completely renovated in 2001 to include a well-appointed interior and Grand Ballroom which has become the centerpiece of the region's social scene. Today Cross Creek Country Club has over 300 members and provides a venue for unique member events, high school proms, reunions, community banquets, corporate retreats and meetings, charity events, weddings, and receptions.
