Crookwell Golf Club

Crookwell Golf Club is a visitor-friendly 9-hole course located on the edge of Crookwell, positioned atop the Great Dividing Range next to the local showground. The course features 18 tees and 9 grass greens, with a par of 70 for men and 73 for women, carrying a slope rating of 123.

The layout incorporates tree-lined fairways with a mix of native and European trees, with several holes protected by sand bunkers and water hazards. The elevated location creates distinct seasonal playing conditions: summer months typically offer good ball run on fairways, while winter play tends to run longer. Prevailing wind variations add challenge and variety to each round.

The course hosts Saturday competition golf, welcoming visitors to participate. During daylight saving months, Thursday afternoon nine-hole competitions are also held. An adjoining clubhouse features a bar and bistro, staffed Thursday through Saturday, with meals available. Visitors may play outside competition times, with an honesty box system when the clubhouse is unstaffed.
