Crooked Stick Golf Club is located in Carmel, Indiana, approximately 20 minutes north of Indianapolis. Founded in 1964 by visionary leaders including Pete and Alice Dye, the course represents their first design and embodies their innovative golf philosophy. Built on Indiana clay soil previously used for crops and cattle, the course was intentionally designed to be challenging yet rewarding for players at all levels.
The club maintains a limited membership model emphasizing quality over quantity, prioritizing exceptional playing conditions and course maintenance. Crooked Stick has established itself as a premier tournament venue, hosting prestigious championships including the U.S. Women's Open, U.S. Men's Senior Open, PGA Championship, U.S. Mid-Amateur, Solheim Cup, and BMW Western Open. The club will host the 2028 USGA U.S. Senior Open Championship.
