Coolamatong Golf Course

Coolamatong Snowy Mountains Country Club operates an 18-hole par-71 golf course located 2km outside Berridale on the Kosciuszko Road towards Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains region. The course measures 5829 metres for members and features two distinct nine-hole sections with differing characteristics. For ladies, the course plays as par-72 at 5485 metres. Despite its modest length, the course presents a challenging test of golf with excellent greens and interesting hole design. The facility welcomes social golfers seven days a week and hosts member competitions every Sunday and Wednesday, with visiting golfers from other clubs holding GA handicaps welcome to participate. The club also organizes special event days including charity and trade days for social players. Founded in 1952, Coolamatong held its first competition on 18 April 1953. Recent facility improvements include a new clubhouse deck added in 2025 overlooking the course. The adjoining Berridale Town Club provides dining and social amenities.
