Coakley-Russo Memorial Golf Course ☆ Follow

Coakley-Russo Memorial Golf Course is a nine-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., with a par of 35 and yardage ranging from 2,700 to 3,300 yards. The course is located at 151 1/2 Knollcroft Rd, Lyons, New Jersey 07939, in Somerset County. Nestled in the scenic Somerset Hills region, the course features meticulously maintained fairways and greens complemented by breathtaking views.

On Memorial Day, 1947, the course was presented to the VA Medical Center by New Jersey golfers as a gift. The course was dedicated to the memory of all New Jersey golfers who gave their lives in World War II and is named in honor of two New Jersey Professional Golfers, Lt. Francis X. Coakley and Sgt. Nick Russo, killed while in the service of their country. The official pace of play rating from the NJSGA is 2 hours and 13 minutes. The course offers comprehensive practice facilities, which include a practice putting green and chipping area.
