Citrusdal Golf Club is a nine-hole course located in Citrusdal in the Western Cape, South Africa. The course was originally established in 1960 as a four-hole layout on land known locally as the "Koeikamp," but fell into disrepair. The current nine-hole course was developed in 1975 and expanded to its present configuration. The club purchased the property in the early 1980s. The course is built on limited, relatively flat terrain with some challenging water features and uneven ground conditions characteristic of the area between the town and river.
Citrusdal Golf Club hosts several notable tournaments, most prominently the Citrusdal Open, established in 1986 and won by various accomplished golfers including Bertus Smit (four times between 1992-1996) and Christiaan Basson (2003-2004). Other major events include the Seatrade Classic and Citrus Invitational. The club has competed in the Nelson League since the 1980s, competing against eleven other clubs in the Boland region. The course is recognized as the top-ranked nine-hole course in the Western Cape and welcomes visitors and new members.
