Chesapeake Hills Golf Course

Chesapeake Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole public course located in Lusby, Maryland, featuring 6,545 yards from the longest tees with a par of 72. Designed by Jim Thompson and opened in 1968, the course has a rating of 72.3 and slope rating of 126, indicating moderate to challenging difficulty. The course is owned and operated by Calvert County Government's Department of Parks and Recreation.

Recent improvements include a comprehensive greens drainage project completed in partnership with Growing Solutions to enhance putting surface consistency and performance, as well as reconstructed tee boxes on holes #3, #4, #6, and #9. The course offers a scenic setting with occasional wildlife encounters and is characterized as welcoming to golfers of all skill levels with no strict dress codes. A new 8,150-square-foot clubhouse opened in March 2024, featuring a pro shop, full-service bar and grill, and banquet facilities. Additional amenities include a driving range, putting green, and FootGolf options.
