The Roman Road Course at Celtic Manor Resort is a par-70 layout designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1995 as the resort's inaugural course. Located in Newport, South Wales, it overlooks the Severn Estuary with views extending across to Somerset and Devon. The course is named after the Via Julia Roman highway that historically ran through its fairways.

The design presents a challenging mix of long open fairways combined with more demanding sections featuring trees and streams. This combination of relatively straightforward holes and intricate navigation through natural obstacles creates moderate to high difficulty for golfers of varying skill levels. The course was ranked 'the top inland course in Wales' by Golf Monthly Magazine and has established itself as a significant tournament venue, hosting numerous European Tour and Senior Tour events. Since 2012, it has been the home of The Celebrity Cup, further cementing its status in professional golf. The Roman Road benefits from the resort's luxury clubhouse facilities, offering a premium golfing experience with excellent amenities.
