Caerleon Golf Club is Wales' first municipal golf course, having opened in 1976. The facility features a 9-hole parkland course situated alongside the River Usk, offering an accessible golfing experience for players of varying abilities. Additionally, a 9-hole par-3 course was constructed with Ryder Cup Legacy funding from the Welsh Government to encourage beginners and newcomers to the sport. The par-3 course is ideal for juniors, families, and those new to golf. A footgolf course also runs alongside the par-3 layout, providing an alternative recreational activity. The main course offers good value golfing with options for 9 or 18 holes. The facility operates on a pay-and-play basis without requiring advance booking. A clubhouse with bar facilities and patio seating is available, and the venue can be privately hired for celebrations and events. Annual membership options are offered for adults, juniors, and concession holders.
