Cedar Crest is an 18-hole course featuring 6,550 yards of golf for a par of 75. Located in the southern United States in Dallas, Texas, the course was designed by A. W. Tillinghast and was the site of the tenth PGA Championship in 1927, won by Walter Hagen in early November. It hosted the United Golf Association Negro National Open in 1954, and the USGA's Public Links later that year.

Designed by A.W. Tillinghast with renovations by D.A. Weibring/Golf Resources, Inc., the course features rolling terrain, greenside bunkers, and tree-lined fairways. The course puts emphasis on accuracy yet can be enjoyed by beginner golfers while remaining challenging for lower handicap players. The parkland course winds through trees and has relatively small greens, some of which have steep runoffs. Established in 1916 and opened in 1919, the course was purchased by the city in 1946 and now operates as a public facility.
