Cedar Bend Golf Course is a 9-hole course located in Gold Beach, Oregon, on the Southern Oregon Coast, situated in Cedar Valley approximately 10 miles north of Gold Beach. Designed by John Zoller and opened in 1971, the course measures 3,000 yards from the longest tees with a par of 36 for nine holes. When played as an 18-hole course, it measures 5,231 to 6,288 yards with a par of 72.
The course features elevated tees and greens with challenging elevation changes throughout. Water plays a significant role in the layout, with Cedar Fork Creek meanders through the course and comes into play on nearly every hole. The creek's clear waters and smooth stone base are prominent visual features. Each green includes two flags—one for the front nine and one for the back nine—allowing the short layout to feel like an 18-hole experience, with some tee boxes also changing between nines.
The course is lined with fir trees and offers a forgiving design suitable for golfers of all abilities while providing adequate challenge for experienced players. The setting includes opportunities to observe local wildlife, including black-tailed deer, Roosevelt elk, red-tailed hawks, and band-tailed pigeons.
