Yaezakura Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course located in Tenri City, Nara Prefecture, Japan. Opened in April 1976, the 300,000-square-meter property is a hilly layout designed by Shinsui Chen and supervised by Ching Shui Po. The course is situated just one kilometer from the Ichimatsu Interchange of the Meihan Expressway. The front nine is characterized by generous fairways and significant distance, catering to long hitters. The back nine presents a more technical challenge with its undulating terrain and strategic demands. Notable holes include the 9th, a downhill par-5 that doglegs gently to the right and features a pine-tree-lined fairway with a mental test at the green. The 10th hole plays as a reverse S-shaped par-5, while the 12th and 14th require precise approach shots over water hazards. The 17th hole is a demanding uphill par-3 that tests the golfer's elevation change management. The course features Bentgrass greens and offers a variety of yardages depending on the tee selection, ranging from 5,190 yards from the tips to 6,548 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 65.6 from the forward tees and 71.4 from the back tees for men. The layout is designed to accommodate both power and precision, with specific holes recommended for driving distance and others for approach accuracy.
