Located in Eumseong County, Chungcheongbuk-do, Kosca Country Club is a 27-hole public facility that opened in May 2012. The course covers an area of 1,431,341 square meters and is divided into three distinct nine-hole loops named Maple, Lily, and Pine. Players typically navigate the course in a sequence of Maple, Lily, and Pine before returning to Maple. The total yardage for the full 27 holes is listed at 10,729 yards, with each nine-hole loop presenting a par of 36.
The Maple course features a layout where the first hole is a long par 4 that offers clear visibility from tee to green, rewarding distance but requiring accuracy to avoid side bunkers. The Lily course is characterized by wide, downhill fairways and two-tiered greens that demand precise distance control on approach shots. The Pine course includes long par-5s, such as the 511-yard third hole from the black tees, providing opportunities for birdie scoring.
Kosca CC distinguishes itself with specific local rules designed for safety and environmental preservation. The course does not utilize white stakes for out-of-bounds or red stakes for lateral water hazards. Instead, balls that leave the playing area must be dropped with a one-stroke penalty at the point of crossing. Natural conservation forests are marked as areas where a two-stroke penalty drop is permitted within two club lengths. Artificial features such as cart paths, drainage manholes, and shrubbery areas allow for one-club-length no-penalty relief. The facility is operated by Hangseok Development and managed by the Professional Construction Mutual Aid Association.
