The layout takes advantage of the area's natural forest environment, with a total yardage of 6,850 yards from the back tees. The course is designed to be accessible, with fairway gradients kept within 6% to allow for comfortable walking, yet it offers strategic complexity for advanced players through multiple routing options on various holes. The setting is defined by the expansive views of the Aoyama Plateau, where more than twenty wind turbines are visible in the distance. The course features distinct seasonal beauty, with fresh green foliage in the spring and vibrant autumn colors. A notable architectural feature is the ornate Kamekyo Bridge, which connects the clubhouse to the first tee; this structure has been recognized for its technical design in bridge construction. The front nine totals 3,399 yards, featuring a mix of par-4s, par-5s, and par-3s. The back nine covers 3,451 yards, including the course's longest par-5, the 11th, which measures 596 yards from the back tees. The 17th hole is a demanding 466-yard par-4, while the 3rd and 15th holes serve as the primary par-3 challenges at 175 and 157 yards respectively. The course rating is 72.5 from the back tees, with a Slope Rating of 131. Local rules dictate specific procedures for out-of-bounds areas, marked by white stakes, and water hazards, marked by yellow or red stakes. Players are required to play a fourth shot from a designated tee if their first shot on holes 3, 6, 7, 9, 12, or 14 goes out of bounds. The course also enforces a pace of play rule, warning groups that take more than 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete a half, with a two-stroke penalty for a second offense. All holes offer forward tees, though their use is restricted on specific holes by local rule.
