Tsu Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 golf course located in Tsu, Mie Prefecture, Japan. The course spans a total of 7,023 yards from the championship tees and was designed and supervised by professional golfer Masashi Obara and course architect Kentaro Sato. The layout is characterized by its strategic demands, featuring bentgrass putting surfaces, deep-reveted bunkers, and large water hazards, including a prominent pond surrounded by brickwork. The course presents a significant challenge, described as having the highest difficulty level in Mie Prefecture. The design incorporates a variety of hole lengths and difficulties, with handicap strokes distributed to balance the round. Notable long holes include the 8th and 18th, both par 5s measuring 558 and 545 yards respectively from the championship tees. The par 4s range from 311 to 455 yards, while the par 3s vary from 104 to 227 yards. The front nine totals 3,495 yards, and the back nine measures 3,528 yards from the same tees. Tsu Country Club hosts the annual "The Challenged Golf Tournament" on November 3, a major event dedicated to supporting golfers with disabilities. The course also serves as a venue for other community-focused events, including the Marine Cup Charity Competition for children of maritime disaster victims and the Mie-Okinawa Family Golf Exchange Meeting. The facility is situated on a 150-hectare site that includes a lodge overlooking the 18th hole and various recreational amenities.
