Located in Gifu Prefecture, Sekigahara Country Club sits on a plateau surrounded by the Ibuki and Yoro mountain ranges, offering views of the Nobi Plain. The 18-hole course was established in October 1974 and is characterized by its wide, flat terrain, which allows for strategic play across all skill levels. The layout is divided into an out course and an in course, with a total par of 72. The course measures 6,533 yards from the Emerald Green tees and 6,216 yards from the Diamond Green tees. The front nine plays to a par 36, while the back nine also carries a par 36. Key holes include the demanding 3rd hole, a 531-yard par 5, and the 10th, a 501-yard par 5. The par 3s provide variety, ranging from the short 16th at 160 yards to the longer 1st at 398 yards. Sekigahara Country Club has a strong history in regional tournament play. It hosted the 33rd Gifu Prefectural Senior Golf Championship and the 23rd Grand Senior Golf Championship in 2008, as well as the 47th Gifu Prefectural Senior Golf Championship in 2023. The club also won the 52nd and 53rd Gifu Prefectural Club Championship in 2016 and 2017, and secured back-to-back victories in the 50th and 51th Chubu Inter Club Golf Competition in 2021 and 2022.
