Cattails Golf Club

Cattails Golf Club is an 18-hole championship public course located in South Lyon, Michigan, just minutes outside Detroit. Designed by PGA Professional John R. Williams and opened in 1991, the course integrates the natural landscape of the region, featuring wetlands and hardwood forests throughout its layout.

The front nine travels through and around creeks and wetlands, while the back nine is carved through hardwood forest with additional wetland challenges to navigate. The course successfully incorporates the area's native ecology into its design, offering a natural and scenic setting.

Cattails operates as a daily fee public course, emphasizing superior personal service and well-maintained conditions. The facility has hosted significant tournaments including The Michigan Amateur Qualifier, LPGA Futures Tour, Amateur Shooters Tour, Elite Company events, and charity tournaments.
