Carroll Valley Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course located in a valley set amidst the picturesque rolling hills of South Central Pennsylvania. The par 71 course measures 6,663-6,688 yards and was designed by William Cobb (with some sources citing Ault, Clark & Associates), opening in 1965-1968. The course features a distinctive layout with six par 3s and five par 5s, accommodating golfers of varying skill levels. A clear flowing mountain stream fronts nearly a third of the holes, creating water hazards and scenic appeal throughout the layout.

The course is situated at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and offers challenging yet well-maintained conditions. The slope rating is 128-129 with a course rating of 72.4. Notable features include the stream, mature trees providing a traditional feel, and views across the surrounding hillside. The resort includes hotel accommodations, dining facilities, and a pro shop with golf simulators for year-round play.
