Campo de Golf de Castropol ☆ Follow

Castropol Golf is a 9-hole golf course located in western Asturias, Spain, situated on a 20-hectare estate approximately 2 kilometers from the coast near the towns of Tapia, Castropol, and Figueras. The course features a par 72 layout with approximately 3,000 meters of playing length. Opened in 2008, the course is designed as a parkland-style layout characterized by relatively flat terrain with wide fairways, making it accessible for players of all skill levels.

The course is distinguished by its natural setting featuring diverse vegetation including pines, poplars, and olive trees. Water hazards are prevalent throughout the layout, with notable challenging holes including the par-5 seventh hole at 542 meters, described as the longest in Asturias. The fifth hole presents a demanding 355-meter par 4 that requires navigation around tall pine trees and water obstacles. The ninth hole is a notable short par 3 that offers another significant test for golfers.

Castropol Golf operates as part of the Hotel Casa Cachón complex, which provides integrated amenities including a restaurant, cafeteria, swimming pool, spa facilities, and golf instruction. The course is situated in a scenic location near the Eo River estuary and provides views of the surrounding Asturian landscape, creating an environment that combines sport with natural heritage.
