Burden Lake Country Club

Burden Lake Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course located in Averill Park, New York, approximately 10 miles from Troy and 15 miles from Albany. The course is situated in the northeastern New York region and welcomes both public play and members.

The course accommodates golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players, with the option to play the front nine, back nine, or all 18 holes. The facility features a grass tee driving range and offers instruction from PGA professionals, including the Head Golf Professional who provides individual and group lessons.

Beyond traditional play, Burden Lake Country Club operates three indoor virtual golf simulators featuring 60 different courses worldwide, allowing year-round golf regardless of weather conditions. The facility includes Jack Kelly's Tavern by the Green, an on-site clubhouse restaurant and bar serving light golf-oriented fare daily, with dinner specials on Thursday and Friday nights featuring steaks, pasta, and seafood.

The club maintains an active membership program with various categories including junior, college, young adult, senior, couple, and family memberships, plus tournament play and member-only leagues. The facility also hosts junior golf camps during summer months for ages 7-14, taught by PGA professionals.
