Brenham Country Club is an 18-hole golf course located three miles east of Brenham, Texas. The course originated in the 1920s before relocating to its present location in 1950. Golf architect Ralph Plummer, renowned for his work at Colonial Golf Course and Champions Golf Course, designed the original 9-hole layout. The course features pine trees planted on the hill behind greens 13 and 14, creating a distinctive landscape element. The expansion to 18 holes was completed in 1996. The club sits on approximately 100 acres and includes irrigation systems extending to tees and greens. Brenham Country Club serves as both a recreational golf facility and social club, with amenities including a clubhouse built in 1997-1999, pro shop, and swimming pool. The course caters to various membership levels and hosts organized play through men's and ladies' golf associations, offering tournament and event hosting capabilities.
