Bloomingdale Golf Club is located in Bloomingdale, Illinois, on the site of the historic Glendale Golf Course, which opened in 1924 under the design of Tom Bendelow, who also contributed to Medinah Country Club's design. When the village of Bloomingdale acquired the course in 1996, it commissioned Lohmann Golf Design in 1998 to renovate and enhance the layout into a challenging yet accessible course.
The course is an 18-hole facility designed to provide an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all skill levels. It features challenging greens without being overly difficult, offering a balanced test of golf. The course is set within a country club environment with meticulously landscaped grounds that provide an attractive playing experience.
Bloomingdale Golf Club also offers a practice facility and instruction programs, including clinics and junior golf schools. The facility includes a banquet room overlooking the course that can accommodate up to 220 guests, making it available for tournaments, outings, weddings, and social events. The course hosts various leagues and community programs while maintaining CDGA affiliation for handicap establishment.
