Itasca Country Club is a private 18-hole golf course located in Itasca, Illinois, founded in 1925 and purchased by William Lyons in 1928. The club has operated as a community fixture for over 90 years and is designated as a historical landmark by the Village of Itasca's Historical Preservation Committee. It holds certification as a "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary" from the National Audubon Society.
The course serves as the centerpiece of a comprehensive private country club offering extensive recreational amenities beyond golf, including a six-lane swimming pool with expanded deck, fitness center, ice skating rink, curling facility, and golf simulators. The club maintains a family-oriented focus with junior golf instruction and a traveling junior golf team program.
In addition to the golf course, the facility features the Fox & Turtle, an upscale American pub open to both members and the public, along with full banquet and catering services available for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. The club hosts select golf events open to non-members.
