Blairmore & Strone Golf Club was designed by James Braid and built in 1896. The 9-hole, par-32 parkland course stretches over 2,176 yards. The course is set on the hillside above Strone and is undulating with large areas of deep rough bordering most fairways, providing a challenging test for golfers of all abilities.

The third hole is notable for its steep approach with an equally steep left to right slope, while the fifth hole presents a similar right to left slope. Players can enjoy fine views of Loch Long, Holy Loch and the Firth of Clyde throughout their rounds. The course is located on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll and Bute, near Dunoon.
