Biltmore Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course located in North Barrington, Illinois, originally designed by renowned architect Leonard Macomber and completed in 1926. The course was developed as part of a broader family-oriented country club established on approximately 800 acres by Clifford Leonard in 1925.

The course is built on terrain featuring peat foundation, which historically presented drainage challenges. To address this, the club implemented a comprehensive drainage system and extensive watering infrastructure utilizing Honey Lake as a freshwater supply. These improvements ensure the course remains playable even after heavy rainfall.

Biltmore has earned recognition as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, receiving the Audubon International Award for its aesthetically pleasing grounds and environmentally conscious management practices. The club maintains an active golf program including a full junior program, two ladies leagues, and various men's tournaments and events throughout the year. The course continues to serve as a central recreational feature of this historic family country club facility.
