Bearsden Golf Club

Bearsden Golf Club, founded in 1891, is one of Glasgow's oldest clubs, located just 5 miles north of the city centre. The club sits on the edge of the countryside, offering a blend of urban accessibility and rural setting.

Currently operating as a 9-hole course, Bearsden Golf Club is undergoing significant development. A new championship course designed by renowned golf architect Graeme Webster of Niblick Design is scheduled to open in 2025. The expanded layout will measure 6,100 yards across two 9-hole loops, with ambitions to become one of the finest 9-hole courses in the UK.

The course provides a challenging test for golfers of all abilities, set against Glasgow's northern landscape. The club has hosted notable tournaments including the Gents Club Championship and the Ewen Ferguson Trophy, named after the club's professional member Ewen Ferguson, a two-time DP World Tour winner.
