Balnagask Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal course located at the mouth of Aberdeen Harbour in Torry, bounded by the North Sea. The course benefits from spectacular coastal views extending up and down the coast, across the busy harbour, and towards the city beyond.

The course was developed through the contributions of renowned designers James Braid, Archie Simpson, and the Hawtree family. It is widely acknowledged as one of Scotland's best municipal 18-hole courses. The naturally rolling coastal landscape features hidden fairways, elevated tees, and gorse-walled ravines, creating a challenging layout requiring nerve and balance. Notable features include the historic Girdleness Lighthouse and the medieval Torry Battery, situated within a local conservation area.

The course presents varied difficulty through its distinctive design, offering golfers an interesting array of holes that take advantage of the coastal terrain and natural features. The combination of architectural heritage and natural landscape elements creates a unique golfing experience.
