The Avoca CountryView Golf and Grille is a 9-hole municipal golf course that was opened in 1975, located just off of Interstate 80 at mile marker 40 in Avoca, Iowa. The course has watered fairways and is lined with large trees, with golfers challenged by 5 sand traps that guard a fairway and 4 greens, and 2 ponds on fairway #4 and #6. The course measures 3,163 yards at par 36, with a course rating of 35.4 and slope rating of 121.

Among the course's notable holes is hole 3, a long par 4 into the wind, and hole 6, a long par 3 that requires carrying water to set up for par, while hole 4 requires players to plan a route over a creek. The course requires shot-making with plenty of trees providing defense and numerous doglegs.

The clubhouse, originally constructed of corrugated metal, burned down in December 2009. The replacement building was constructed of brick and gained 1,000 square feet compared to the original footprint. The course is open 7 days a week, weather permitting, with rental carts available and a clubhouse for use.
