Located in Sakura, Chiba Prefecture, Asakura Country Club is an 18-hole championship course set within the natural landscape of the Shimousa region. The course spans over 7,000 yards from the championship tees, with a total par of 72. The design capitalizes on the area's fertile natural environment, utilizing a terrain characterized by minimal elevation changes and a distinct forest setting. This layout is engineered to offer both strategic depth and significant difficulty, featuring a design that accommodates official tournament play. The front nine presents a mix of par-4s and par-5s, anchored by the formidable 2nd hole, a 558-yard par-5 from the back tees. The 1st hole serves as a testing 400-yard par-4, while the 3rd and 7th holes provide shorter par-3 challenges at 209 and 195 yards respectively. The back nine continues the strategic demand, highlighted by the 11th hole, a 551-yard par-5 that requires precise positioning. The closing 18th hole offers a 541-yard par-5 finish, providing a long-range test for players navigating the course's final stretch. Beyond the playing surface, the facility supports competitive standards with extensive practice amenities, including a driving range exceeding 250 yards and dedicated approach practice areas. The course is managed by the Asakura Golf Club and is part of the Tokyu Golf Resort network.
