Arrowhead Country Club

Arrowhead Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Cam Hardigree and built in 1974. Located in Montgomery, Alabama, the course measures 6,710 yards from the championship tees with a par of 72, a slope rating of 123, and a course rating of 71.5.

The layout features challenging par 4s and strategically placed water hazards throughout, particularly on the back nine. The signature hole is the par 5 third hole, distinguished by arrowhead-shaped sand traps framing the front corners of the green. The course is known for its risk-reward opportunities, notably the par 5 fifteenth hole, which requires a long carry over water to reach the green in two.

Difficulty varies throughout the course, with several notably challenging holes including the par 4 sixth hole, designated as the number one handicap hole, and the par 3 sixteenth hole, described as the toughest par 3. The course is well-bunkered with strategic hazards protecting most greens, while numerous holes feature out-of-bounds markers and mature trees that define the fairways.

The course operates year-round and accommodates golfers of all skill levels through multiple tee boxes, from red tees to championship black tees.
